Bulathkohupitiya–Dedugala Asphalt Works

In just three months, Senarath Engineering (Pvt) Ltd supplied, laid, and compacted a new asphalt wearing course along the Bulathkohupitiya–Dedugala Road (km 10+707 – 11+694). Completed for the Road Development Authority, the fast‑track contract (SAB/RDA/PD/TEN/CON/2024/12) has delivered a smoother, safer travel experience for commuters in the Kegalle District.

Senarath Engineering (Pvt) Ltd successfully executed the “Supplying, Laying, and Compaction of Asphalt Wearing Course for Bulathkohupitiya–Dedugala Road” between chainages 10+707 km and 11+694 km. Working for the Road Development Authority with design by Euro Group, the 20‑month project (10 Mar 2022 – 16 May 2024) upgraded pavement, drainage, and safety features—delivering smoother, year‑round access for local communities and boosting regional connectivity.

Senarath Engineering (Pvt) Ltd successfully completed the “Rehabilitation, Improvement, and Maintenance of 37.28 Km of Rural Roads in Galewela and Dambulla Divisional Secretariat Divisions” in the Matale District of Sri Lanka’s Central Province. The project was executed under Contract No. LK-RDA-251191-CW-LOT2 and commissioned by the Road Development Authority (RDA). Engineering consultancy services were provided by Euro Group for Engineering Consultancy. The project commenced on 10th March 2022 and was completed on 16th May 2024, within the stipulated 20-month timeframe.This development initiative focused on improving rural connectivity by upgrading a network of key village and inter-village roads that previously suffered from poor surface conditions, inadequate drainage, and limited accessibility during adverse weather. The scope of work included full-depth rehabilitation, pavement strengthening, surface improvements, roadside drainage construction, and routine maintenance.By restoring and upgrading 37.28 km of rural roadways, the project has significantly improved transportation efficiency, road safety, and accessibility for thousands of residents in the Galewela and Dambulla areas. It has enhanced access to essential services such as healthcare, education, and local markets, while also supporting agricultural and economic activities across the region.Senarath Engineering ensured the use of durable materials and engineering practices adapted to local environmental conditions, especially in areas prone to heavy rainfall and erosion.
